Welcome to one of Alaska's last great vacation
destinations!
Whether you're looking for tackle-busting salmon, monster barn-door halibut
or taking one of our many wildlife Eco-tours, be
assured
you'll find adventure at our unique Oceanside wilderness lodge. |
What
separates Ravencroft Lodge from other Alaskan Salmon and
Halibut Adventure
Lodges? We of course have world class fishing at our front
door that include tackle-busting salmon, monster barn-door halibut and
numerous other line ripping, spool-peeling species.
With no size-limits for halibut and a daily
limit of 2, per person in south-central Alaska for 2013. All with fishing grounds
literally within sight of the fishing lodge. You'll also
find the best
coho salmon run in Prince William Sound just
down the beach from the lodge. But Ravencroft is much more
then just fantastic fishing. We want to give you the
adventure of a life time! There are so many more eco-tour activities
that are begging the outdoor enthusiast at Alaska's best
lodge located in Prince William Sound!
Take a stroll along the beach at low tide to witness a
flourishing eco-system. Kayak or paddle board for the day
along stunning coastlines or just cruise the shores
discovering Alaska’s rich underwater sea life. We also offer
fly-out heli adventures from the lodge where you’ll see
waterfalls and the most glaciated mountains in North America
which are situated along the Chugach Mountain Range,
stretching to 13,000 ft high. While flying, you’ll also see
Columbia Glacier in all its grandeur. You may even see huge
chunks of ice calving off this icy-blue behemoth! Or simply
enjoy the sights and sounds from our wrap around covered
porch's that overlook the ocean where you’ll often find
whales, otters, porpoise, salmon sharks and sea-lions
passing right in front of our dock, feasting on the salmon
runs. Watch for brown and black bears walking nearby beaches
and streams. See Eagles and various other birds, including
migrating hummingbirds that stop at several “bird watching”
feeders placed around the lodge. Be assured, you’ll find
yourself surrounded by wildlife. So don’t forget your
camera!

Each day presents Alaska in a
totally different light. Beauty surrounds the fishing
lodge in every direction and adventure that's taken
either by boat, kayak, paddle board or hiking trails.
Take it from an Alaskan, the views are endless and never
get old! We are remote, even by other lodge standards.
There are no roads to this lodge and we are completely
off the grid. But we treasure our location, location,
location! Because of where we are, fishing pressure is
extremely low and most groups will encounter very few
other fishermen during their entire 7 day stay. Which
allows you to have access to the best fishing holes,
viewing spots and breathtaking views at the fishing
lodge in Alaska.
We
cater to small groups (2-6) to large groups (12-16). Being a family-run operation, we strive to maintain a
family friendly atmosphere. Our business is based on
building relationships that will endure though out the
seasons and pride ourselves on repeat clientele. Spend a
week with us and you'll leave with new friends, incredible
adventures and memories that will last a lifetime!
