RAVENCROFT LODGE is a remote coastal wilderness lodge located in one of the most scenic coastal areas of Alaska. Sheltered inlets and bays extend for miles and the mountains come right down to the beach.  Our remote beachfront Lodge setting in Prince William Sound is many miles from the road system, but the lodge is easily accessible via water taxi or floatplane.

Salmon Video  Shark Video  View from Lodge

RAVENCROFT LODGE offers some of the most exciting and gratifying fishing experiences to be had anywhere in Alaska. In addition to the area's excellent Salmon fishing, every fisherman will want to partake of our tackle-busting Halibut, Alaska Rockfish (Snapper) as well as  the  many other available saltwater species while visiting Ravencroft. And don't forget the Shark Fishing. We have large numbers of Salmon Sharks which follow the prolific salmon migrations into the waters around Ravencroft Lodge. Come to Ravencroft Lodge for the truly unforgettable experience of a lifetime.

The tranquil bays and sheltered inlets in the area make for a veritable kayakers paradise. With miles of secluded beaches to comb, you never know what you are going to see when you round the next bend.  Paddle up into one of the coastal estuaries, as you watch for wildlife and photo opportunities. Kayak paddlers, by virtue of their quieter and calmer traveling mode, should be prepared for some memorable sightings! Orcas and Humpback whales breach and blow; you may even hear them sing a song or two. Dahl Porpoises frolic and entertain, Stellar Sea Lions and Sea Otters will keep an eye on you, and Bald Eagles are common.

Hike up to the mountain ridge behind the Lodge and marvel at the  beautiful panoramic view of Prince William Sound, with it's timbered surrounding mountain ranges and wilderness. Backpacking and mountain biking are among the most gratifying methods of experiencing the Alaskan back country's true beauty and raw nature, and for exhilarating experiences and eye-opening grandeur. Ravencroft Lodge is accessible to over 200 miles of closed and no longer used logging trails with access into the surrounding mountains from the Lodge.
